What experiences (work and/or personal) help you to be a better attorney?

A major focus of my law practice has been, and continues to be, building professional relationships with my clients. I believe that part of my role as an advocate is developing a solid understanding of the needs of my client and the realities they face in the particular situation I have been hired to represent them in. I have represented a wide range of clients in a variety of matters at both the trial and appellate levels and I have learned that a strong work ethic and a firm commitment to professional advocacy for my clients are the most successful traits a lawyer can possess.

What made you choose your primary area of law?

I enjoy civil litigation and trying cases and being a well spoken and aggressive advocate for my clients. Thus far in my career I have participated in and personally tried numerous cases and personally advocated several cases before the Tennessee Court of Appeals. I chose civil litigation because I enjoy helping people solve problems whether that be at the settlement table or in front of a judge/jury in the courtroom.
